 Why I joined Bizworks 360

I Joined Bizworks 360 as a natural compliment to my focus on Social Media Marketing for my clients. I have been immersed in the social media  landscape since the inception of Facebook and Twitter and have focused my work for clients in this space.  My traditional marketing communications background combined with a current focus in the on-line digital marketing space has been a great asset for many clients in a variety of industries. At Bizworks 360 we are delivering a comprehensive analytical view into our client's digital footprint. This view can hyperfocus specifically into their social media presence and offer actionable steps to ensure content, campaigns and activity are directly tied to business objectives. 

What I do at Bizworks 360

I am focused on building our Social Media Auditing Toolset. My role is to engage with clients on a daily basis offering Social Media content direction and strategy. I am also responsible for building out our Affiliate Social Media Group to assist clients with creating and publishing their content.

What am I Reading

Enchantment by Guy Kawasaki. Guy offers a simple framework on how to influence your clients, co-workers, family and friends while maintaining the highest standard of ethics. I also devour any of Jodi Picoult's recent releases.

What I watch on TV

I am a Sunday HBO junkie and follow True Blood and Entourage. Being from the midwest with two sons and a daughter, I enjoy The Middle and Parenthood and I also can not miss an episode of Glee.

What are my Other Projects

As a marketer and a mother of three, I have found the world wide web a wonderful place for connecting, research and self expression. That being said, I have become a resource for my parent community on the use of Social Media for themselves and their children. I recently created a lecture series titled Social Media for Parents in conjunction with the Fairfield Children's Library in my hometown of Fairfield, CT. I collaborated with Connectsafely.org and shared resources to help my parent community become more aware of the importance and use of Social Media as a tool for family branding, connecting and education. I am also working on a joint venture to take this education series to a home based customized program for families.

What I did Before Coming to Bizworks 360

  • New Media Brain, my own Social Media Marketing firm where I help companies in a variety of industries with their marketing needs including SEO, PR, event management and social media campaigns and strategy.
  • Director of Marketing at eWayDirect. While at eWayDirect I directed the rebranding of our corporate website and marketing collateral materials while building out a full functioning creative department servicing client needs for email and social media creative needs.
  • My corporate marketing experience includes time in the Asia Pacific rim where at FHP Healthcare I managed the marketing and PR needs for two member care facilities servicing over 5,000 members on two Micronesian islands. MCI Telecommunications-Midwest was my marketing training ground where I grew my analytic, training, presentation and project management skills.
